Paris CDG airport is also called Roissy Airport. It is Paris main airport and also the largest airport in France.
Inaugurated in 1974, this airport is about 23 km far from Paris, in the northeast area of the French capital. The airport has the name of famous statesman Charles de Gaulle.
CDG airport recorded more than 76 million passengers in 2019 and nearly 500,000 aircraft lading. It is the busiest airport in the EU (European Union) and it ranks at the second place among Europe’s busiest airports (just behind Heathrow airport, and at the ninth place among world’s busiest airports (number of passengers).
